Class win and podium finish

The first race of the 2023 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) season, the 68th ADAC Westfalenfahrt, also saw the start of the two Zimmermann Porsches entered by Mathol Racing. In good external conditions in the Eifel, the two cars crossed the finish line after four hours of racing. There was a class win and a podium finish. Mathol team boss Matthias Holle: "Even though not everything worked perfectly yet, this was a great season debut. We will continue to work consistently to be even better next time."

Zimmermann Porsches, entered by the Mathol Racing team from Diez, competed in a total of 14 events at the Nürburgring during the 2021 season. The cars performed above average. At races in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the Nürburgring Circuit Challenge (RCN) and at the endurance classic, the ADAC 24h Race, there were a total of 13 class victories, 6 successes in the classification group of near-series production cars and numerous other good placings. In addition, the motorsport events also served to test and develop various brake system components from Zimmermann.
