Sustainable production is not just a fad for Zimmermann. Even in the early 90s this was a major concern when moving from Eppingen to Sinsheim.
Zimmermann takes the use of energy efficient equipment for granted - especially in manufacturing. For us it is important to keep the energy consumption as low as possible also in the coating of our discs and drums.
This eco friendliness is continued in the used materials: examples are the materials used for corrosion protection and the friction material of brake pads. All of these of course must be environmentally friendly. This is also forcefully implemented by the choice of packaging. The packaging materials consist almost exclusively of recycled and recyclable stuff.
For us sustainability begins with the selection of suppliers. Zimmermann only works with partners who produce the required high level quality in fair and safe working conditions. The close proximity to our production site Sinsheim is a criterion in selecting suppliers and is taken into account if possible.

In 2015 we have successfully introduced our energy management system. With this system we can increase the energy efficiency of our company continuously. Not only the environment benefits from these energy savings but also our customers, because we can offer our products at attractive conditions.
