Class win in the Rundstrecken-Challenge

Zimmermann Porsche Cayman started at the Nürburgring

For the first time this season, the Zimmermann-Porsche 718 Cayman S started in the Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring. At the third event the Zimmermann car was part of the line-up of Mathol Racing. Despite weather forecasts to the contrary, the performance test, which was held in two rounds, took place almost entirely on dry roads.

Erik Braun, technical director of Mathol Racing, and Tim Kohmann from Düsseldorf drove the Porsche 718 Cayman S in the VT3 class. The use of the Zimmermann Porsche served as a function test and as a test of new brake pads on the rear axle. In the end, the duo won the class, secured valuable points for the INT-C licence and also gained important knowledge about Zimmermann brake pads. Braun: "The brake pad compound proved to be suitable. The pads were temperature-stable and extremely wear-resistant".

Team manager Matthias Holle: "Our team worked well. The test run of the Zimmermann-Porsche was successful and gave us another class win."
