Start of the season on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife

Otto Zimmermann GmbH project starts another motorsport year

On Saturday, March 18, the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) will kick off the new season. The 68th ADAC Westfalenfahrt will run over the usual distance of four hours through the Green Hell. The cooperation between Otto Zimmermann GmbH and Mathol Racing will continue in the 2023 season at the Nürburgring.

In the VT3 class, the project will continue with the fast Zimmermann Porsche 718 Cayman S. At the first race, three drivers will take turns at the wheel of the fast production-based Porsche - Marcos Adolpho Vasquez, "Coco" and Theo Oeverhaus. Team boss Holle: "Of course, we're aiming for class and classification group victories again this year, including at the 24h race."

Mathol Racing will also be racing in the "Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring" one-make cup in 2023 with a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The team from Diez has four drivers - Arne Hoffmeister, Dorian Boccolacci, Hendrik Still and Reinhard Kofler - for the Zimmermann-designed Porsche. Team boss Holle: "We want to build on the success of our debut season, in which we were competitive in this class right from the start."
