The 24-hour race at the Nürburgring was turbulent with sunshine, rain and low temperatures. There were quite a few accidents and retirements. The Zimmermann Porsche 718 Cayman S (# 300) also experienced a difficult Eifel marathon with two lengthy breaks for repairs. But in the end, the Porsche entered by Mathol Racing saw the checkered flag and won the VT3 class.
