Valuable test on the Nürburgring

Zimmermann-Porsche Cayman at the Rundstrecken-Callenge Nürburgring

Mathol Racing also entered the Zimmermann-Porsche Cayman S in the fourth round of the Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring, "Preis der Erftquelle". The external conditions were good. There were dark clouds in the sky, but the feared rain did not appear. Team boss Matthias Holle: "We may not have won a class victory this time, but we did gain valuable insights.

Erik Braun, technical director of Mathol Racing, and Tim Kohmann from Düsseldorf started with the Zimmermann-Cayman in the V6 class. The race served mainly as a test for the upcoming 24h race on the Nürburgring. Braun: "We tested some components with a view to the endurance race and checked their wear resistance. The results have brought us quite a bit". In the end, the duo finished fourth in class and the pilots collected more valuable points for the INT-C license.
