The brake parts manufacturer based in Sinsheim in southwestern Germany, Zimmermann has expanded its product range by adding a total of 65 brake discs and 30 brake pads in the past year. This means that an additional 2851 vehicle models can now be equipped with brake parts from Zimmermann. This represents another step toward the company's goal of achieving a high level of product coverage and optimally supplying distributors in the spare parts market.
Otto Zimmermann GmbH has been developing, producing and selling sophisticated vehicle components for the independent spare parts market for over six decades.
Decades of experience and continuous development go hand in hand in order to optimally serve and supply the spare parts market.
At Zimmermann, standard products include all brake discs whose design is on a par with that of the original discs. This means that, apart from patented items, the material, dimensions and design of Zimmermann discs are of the same quality as the original discs.
In 2022, Zimmermann launched a total of 41 new standard brake discs on the market. 41 new brake discs mean that Zimmermann now offers new brake discs for 717 additional vehicle models.
As Zimmermann always strives to offer a matching pad for each vehicle application of their brake discs, in the past year the company also introduced 30 new pads, which can be used in 990 additional vehicle models.
In addition to standard spare parts, the company also develops Sport and premium brake discs for motorsports and custom requirements.
Sport brake discs with an additionally machined braking surface are an upgrade for drivers. These brake discs offer improved braking performance and shorten braking distance, especially in wet conditions, by continuously routing away water and brake dust through the holes or grooves on the braking surface. With 24 new Sport brake discs, Zimmermann is offering upgrade options for another 1144 vehicle models. All new Sport discs have an approval and can be installed on any suitable vehicle without requiring additional certification testing. Of course, there are also standard brake discs for these vehicles available.
In addition to its spare parts range, the company has also established an online shop for racing components, offering newly developed brake discs and brake pads for the race track.
